Welglaze Aluminium Casement Windows have been manufactured for over 20 years.
Improved security
A high proportion of all break-ins occur when a burglar either forces open a vent or breaks a locking/fixing point.
Welglaze aluminium casement windows have neatly fitted blocks into the frames around the opening vents, which prevent the burglar from applying any effective force to these points. Secure glazing deters the removal of the glass from outside the home.
Three types of locking systems are available:
- Single point key locking, cockspur handle secured to the frame.
- Two or three point espagnolette locking system.
- Four or five point shootbolt locking system.
Improved looks
Slim neat sightlines are available that improve the appearance of the windows and the whole of your home.
Shaped opening vents give a luxurious appearance.
A direct-to-brick outerframe is available that eliminates the need for hardwood frames (although these are available if required).
New aluminium windows will have a gleaming brilliant white glossy appearance that does not blacken with age.
Standard alternative colours to white are black, brown or silver and also black outside and white inside.
However, almost any colour is possible!
Improved insulation
Double weatherseal and gaskets give exceptional weathertightness.
The Welglaze aluminium casement window has been thermally improved by incorporating an insulating resin (polyurethane) between the inner and outer surfaces of the window.
This reduces the transfer of heat through the frame and is effective in reducing the point at which condensation could occur.
